As a professional regression and reincarnation therapist and member of my professional association NVRT, which monitors the quality of the professional practice of its members, I want you to be satisfied with your session(s). Once in a while it can turn out differently. You can then take the following route:

a. In the first instance, the complaint - orally or in writing - ends up with the regression and reincarnation therapist. Therapist and client try to solve the problem in a personal conversation. Only when a discussion between therapist and client fails to find a solution to the satisfaction of both, can you as a client turn to the complaints officer. This road can take much longer.

b. The complaints officer is an independent person who is not affiliated with the NVRT. He/she does not take sides, neither for the client nor for the therapist. The complaints officer will try to resolve the complaint within 6 weeks (no later than 10 weeks in the case of a complaints investigation) in joint consultation. This means that the client, the therapist and the complaints officer look for a solution together.

c. If the client is dissatisfied with the solution offered under b), the complaint can be submitted to the Disputes Committee. Although this committee has a legal framework, it is nevertheless an extrajudicial body. This is a low-threshold alternative for the client to avoid going to the civil court. The Disputes Committee looks at causal relationships and culpability and looks neutrally at both parties.

The Disputes Tribunal will make a decision no later than six months after the dispute has been submitted. This is binding and the client has no option to go to court. This is in contrast to the healthcare provider/therapist. If the latter is of the opinion that the procedure has not been properly handled by the disputes body, the therapist can go to court.
