General Terms and Conditions as of August 1, 2021
The following General Terms and Conditions apply to Praktijk Maarten Oversier, represented by
Maarten Oversier, hereinafter referred to as the therapist. These conditions apply to all activities performed by Praktijk Maarten Oversier unless these conditions have been deviated from by the parties and expressly agreed upon otherwise in writing.

Article 1 - The therapist
Paragraph 1. The therapist, Maarten Oversier, is a member of the Dutch Association for
Reincarnation therapists, NVRT. Information about the professional association can be found
at www.reincarnatietherapie.nl
Paragraph 2. All reincarnation and regression therapists, member of Dutch Association of
Reincarnation Therapists are bound by the Professional Code of Conduct Regulations and are
subject to the Disciplinary Disciplinary Rules of the NVRT.
Paragraph 3. The therapist is subject to the Reglement Beroepscode en Tuchtrecht of the NVRT.
Paragraph 4. The therapist shall act in accordance with the guidelines as formulated in the NVRT
Code of Professional Conduct. The NVRT also has an independent complaints committee.
Article 2 - The treatment agreement for Regression and Reincarnation Therapy
Paragraph 1. The treatment agreement is concluded between the therapist and the client.
Paragraph 2. The treatment agreement consists of one or more therapy sessions.
Paragraph 3. If the treatment agreement for whatever reason is not signed by one or both
parties, this treatment agreement is still binding for both parties, once an appointment is made for
a therapy session made for a therapy session.
Paragraph 4. Incorrect or incomplete data in the treatment agreement are the responsibility of the
client.
Paragraph 5. Both the therapist and the client are entitled to terminate the therapy process at any
time without giving reasons, to stop or suspend the therapy process. The client indemnifies the therapist from all liability, whether or not arising from the withholding of The client indemnifies the therapist against any liability, whether or not arising from the withholding of medical information or information of any kind.
Article 3 - Child therapy
Paragraph 1. In case of child therapy, periodic consultation takes place with the legal
representatives of the child whereby a verbal report is made of the therapy and
developments of the child.
Paragraph 2. Legal representatives of the child can always ask questions in between sessions. It
may also be that an important and/or significant event occurs for the child in the interim, which is
of importance for the therapy. Notification of this is desirable for the therapist.
Paragraph 3. At the moment there is a situation that, for the wellbeing of the child, despite
support there is a legal right for the therapist to report on a situation that is seriously threatening
to the wellbeing of the child, despite support.
Article 4 - Rates, terms of payment and cancellation Regression and Reincarnation Therapy
Paragraph 1. The fee for the first intake consultation is €265. For any subsequent sessions
250,-. Rates include VAT, preparation and reporting.
Paragraph 2. The method of payment is cash or by invoice after the therapy session. The client
will receive an invoice.
Paragraph 3. Appointments can be cancelled by telephone free of charge up to 48 hours before
the therapy session. If the client cancels later, the cost of the therapy session will be charged in
full. The client will receive an invoice for this.
Paragraph 4. If an appointment due to reasons of the therapist can not take place, the client will
receive a notification by telephone. The costs of the planned therapy session will then be
cancelled. If the therapist is ill or unable to attend, no replacement will be arranged.
All fees are inclusive of 21% VAT.
Paragraph 7. Rates can be adjusted annually.
Article 5 - Liability for Regression and Reincarnation Therapy
Paragraph 1. Participation in therapy is voluntary and is at the client's own responsibility.
By starting therapy, the client agrees to this principle.
Paragraph 2. Both before and after a therapy session, the client is fully responsible for his/her
psychosocial functioning, actions and well-being and indemnifies the therapist.
Paragraph 3. The duration and outcome of the therapy process is highly dependent on the
personal commitment and circumstances of the client. Self-efficacy of the client is part of the
therapy process. Therefore, before, during and after the therapy the client is fully responsible for
his/her result and indemnifies the therapist from any liability, whether or not arising from failure to
achieve the intended therapy result. No guarantee can be given for the success of the treatment
desired results or the time within which the client wishes to achieve them to be achieved.
Article 6 - Disputes in Regression and Reincarnation Therapy.
Paragraph 1. The therapist is subject to the Regulations on the Professional Code and Disciplinary
Law of the NVRT.
Paragraph 2. The NVRT has an independent complaints committee.
Article 7 - Disclaimer
Paragraph 1. The therapist is not responsible for the correct and complete transmission of the
contents of a sent e-mail or fax message, nor for the timely receipt thereof.
Paragraph 2. The therapist is entitled to modify the provisions of these general conditions.
Paragraph 3. These general conditions shall remain in force if Praktijk Maarten Oversier, wholly or
partially changes its name, legal form or owner.
Paragraph 4. Dutch law is applicable to all activities performed by the therapist.
By starting therapy the client declares to agree with these terms and conditions.
